Investigation Procedure Policy & Information

Huntington Paranormal will conduct all investigations in a scientific manner with respect and confidentiality.

Huntington Paranormal Investigations & Research will use various types of equipment to collect data from the property. We use instruments such as thermometers, audio recorders, video cameras, still cameras and other specialized equipment.

HPIR will interview the property owner and/or person's experiencing unexplained phenomenon asking questions about various events that have been taking place in and around the property. We will also request a tour of the property from the owner to establish areas in which activity occurs.

We will ask the owner to sign several documents which include a form obtaining permission to investigate the property, and the release of evidence obtained from the property. These documents are designed for the protection of the owner’s safety, privacy and property.

HPIR requests that the property owner not allow anyone outside of living at the property to be present during the interviewing and investigation process.

During the investigation we may ask that lights and electrical sources be shut off for the duration of the actual investigation. Electrical sources may cause unnecessary equipment interference thus limiting our ability to obtain good evidence.

Once the investigation is complete we will contact the owner with thirty days of the investigation date. If we collect any evidence of paranormal activity during the investigation we will setup a meeting to review and discuss the evidence with the owner within that 30 days. The owner will receive a copy of any evidence of paranormal activity that was documented.

HPIR does not provide cleansings or blessings; we are strictly a research group. However if any evidence of paranormal activity is documented and further assistance is desired, we will help get you in contact with the proper organization or person's to help assist you.
