About HPIR:

Huntington Paranormal is slightly different than most other paranormal groups currently in existence. While our overall goals are the same, our group involves more than just ghost hunting. We are a group with a passion and a purpose and we seek those who will help us grow and learn and continue to move forward in this field.

Our Meetings:

Group meetings are usually held monthly and are open only to team members of Huntington Paranormal. Regular attendance of meetings is a requirement of being a team member.

Group Expectations:

The expectations for our team members are that of professionalism, integrity, community service, confidentiality, respect and historical knowledge. We insist that all of our team members become involved in some way in all aspects of our group. Our group provides free investigations of claims of paranormal activity to our community and we also run a ghost tour. If you feel our team may be the right fit for you please carefully read through all of our guidelines and requirements before contacting us about joining.

Some investigations may require long periods of sitting, standing or walking and typically investigations are done in limited light.  Always know your physical and health limitations; please do not attempt to perform any activity beyond your abilities.

Ghost Tours:

Huntington Paranormal runs the Haunted & Historic Tours that currently take place in Guyandotte, WV several times each year. Membership into Huntington Paranormal includes involvement and participation/help with these tours. It will be up to the individual as to what they are most comfortable with when helping with tours. Some of our members dress in costume and give tours; others serve as back guides and some stay at our information table to hand out tickets, answer questions and talk to tour patrons about a variety of things. The majority of tour patrons love ghost stories and they love to share their ghost stories and photos. Overall our tours help us connect with the public and this event like any investigation is important for members to attend.
