Where to Find Ghosts
Virtually any place has potential to be haunted, here is a list of places that might be good hunting grounds to get started with.
Always remember never to trespass on private property.If you cannot acquire permission from the owner or person responsible for the property, DO NOT ENTER IT!!
Accident Scenes Old accident scenes. Please do not attempt an investigation near a current accident scene.
Not only will it land you into some potentially serious trouble, but it is also very disrespectful of both the deceased and their families.
Crime Scenes Old crime scenes that are no longer being investigated by law enforcement. Please do not attempt an investigation near a current crime scene. Not only will it land you into some serious trouble, but it is also very irresponsible and potentially dangerous.
Cemeteries Remember to be respectful in these locations.
Churches Remember to be respectful in these locations.
Schools Remember to be respectful in these locations.
Theaters Most old theaters, whether in use or not, seem to have activity of some type.
Hotels This usually applies to older hotels, though not always. Be sure to do some research on the location before attempting to investigate.
Boarding Houses These will usually have some form of activity simply due to the amount of "traffic" that they see over the years.
Battlefields These will usually have some form of activity due to the amount of violence involved in a battle. Again, please be respectful in these areas as some battlefields still contain unmarked graves of the fallen soldiers who fought there.
Historic Locations These usually have "residual" activity.
Abandoned Buildings These usually have "residual" activity.
Hospitals These usually have activity due to the higher-than-normal amount of deaths that occur there versus elsewhere.
Taverns Possible activity usually based on the age of the location in question. Besides, why do you think they used to call alcohol "spirits"?.
Museums Always a good chance of finding activity in a museum. Some entities "attach" themselves to items they once owned or used.
Prisons These seem to be good locations for investigating paranormal activity due to the "evil" nature of most of the persons imprisoned there.
Nursing Homes These usually have activity due to the higher-than-normal amount of deaths that occur there versus elsewhere.Crossroads It has been theorized that these areas can sometimes "trap" an entity and prevent it from moving on.
Tunnels It has been theorized that these areas can sometimes "trap" an entity and prevent it from moving on.
Train Stations Mainly older ones.
Bus Stations Mainly older ones.
Orphanages Mainly older ones.
