"Sharing Huntington's History, One Ghost Story at a Time"

.

Investigation Location:

Historic Guyandotte Home

Huntington, West Virginia.

November 2011

Information:

The claims from this home include hearing footsteps in an upstairs bedroom. Years ago, the former owners of the home claimed that it was haunted, reportedly by a man who liked to walk up and down the stairs. The family who claimed that their house was haunted described their ghost as being harmless.

History-wise, we do know a man was killed on the property in the late 1800's during a storm that came through, however his identity remains unknown.

Overview:

The evening was very quite and uneventful with no reports of unusual personal experiences.

Investigation Results:

Unfortunately there was no evidence captured to suggest this location is haunted.
